Hello beautiful Souls! We can all experience this emotion, often as a sense of loss or pain. If we believe there is something we need or want and it doesn’t manifest, we can find ourselves confronted by disappointment. Sometimes we can feel disappointed over something outside our control, but still we feel it, weaving its thread through the fabric of our day, week, even our life. It can cause us to believe that we are not worthy, or that someone else is not worthy.
If we can begin to understand the importance of disappointment, we can go within and unravel what is going on. Could disappointment simply be the Divine’s way of getting us to pay attention? Could it be a nudge to remind us of eternal values and the bigger picture?
When we don’t get what we think we need or want, what if that is exactly what we need? What if we are exactly where we are meant to be, regardless of what has manifested in our lives in that moment?
I invite you to recognise the synchronicity in each disappointment and feel inspired to dig a little deeper. With practice, this will become habit and that old familiar feeling of loss will be replaced by a profound sense of gratitude for revealing exactly what we needed to know..
“Trust is knowing that we are exactly where we need to be – especially when it doesn’t feel like it.” Gail Goodwin
